Melwn app is a school operations platform based in Athens, Greece. The service is used by schools, administrators, teachers, students, parents, guardians, and staff.
For school records and education data, the school or institution using Melwn app is usually the data controller because it decides why and how that data is processed. Melwn app usually acts as a service provider or processor for that school. For our public website, contact enquiries, account administration, and direct support communications, Melwn app may act as the controller.
2. Personal Data We Process
Depending on how a school uses the platform, Melwn app may process names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, user roles, student records, class and school data, grades, attendance, homework, exams, submissions, messages, profile images, support communications, login data, device data, and security logs.
The platform may process data relating to children and students. Schools and authorised users should only enter student information that is necessary for education, administration, safety, and communication purposes.

5. Contact Forms and Email
Contact forms on the public website may use email links or form tools that send your message to Melwn app. We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, manage business communications, and keep appropriate records.
If the contact form is configured as a mailto link, the message is prepared in your own email client and is not stored by Melwn app before you send it.
6. Service Providers
Melwn app uses cloud infrastructure and storage providers to run the service, store application data, and store uploaded files such as profile images. These providers process data only as needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the service.
We may introduce email notifications and website analytics in the future. If analytics or notification services are enabled, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent or provide opt-out choices.
